Job summary

Godstone Farm Limited is seeking a Christmas Elf to deliver magical experiences for visitors during the festive season. You will work alongside other Elves and Father Christmas, engaging families in character and contributing to a memorable grotto experience.

Applicants should be enthusiastic, sociable, and reliable with flexible weekend availability. Full training will be provided, and roles involve attending group interviews and Elf training sessions in late 2026.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the smooth running of Elf duties, including greeting families and assisting with Father Christmas.

• Uphold enthusiasm, positivity, and high level of customer service.
• Keep the toy area stocked for the next day.

Job description

Do you love Christmas? Do you want to help make lifelong memories for families this Christmas? If so, we would love you to join our Christmas team to deliver a truly fantastic experience for our visitors.

Becoming a Christmas Elf is a magical task – you will ensure each and every person who visits Godstone Farm has a truly special experience. Elves are only ever seen by our guests as the magical helpers of Father Christmas, and not in any other capacity, in order to maintain believability. This involves character work, boundless energy and a love for Christmas magic. You must adhere to the Christmas Elf character at all times. Alongside your fellow Elves and Father Christmas you will deliver a truly magical experience. A comprehensive and constant commitment to the Father Christmas story is essential alongside a desire to make all our guests’ dreams come true. Only applicants who combine being committed and responsible, with a real love of Christmas will be considered.

What you will be doing:

• Delivering the smooth and efficient running of all Elf duties. Elves have a number of vital roles from greeting and taking families to see Father Christmas, helping to choose presents and ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of the Father Christmas grotto.
• Ensure a seamless end to end Father Christmas guest experience. Every aspect of our experience must be delivered to a high and efficient standard to promote a positive experience.
• Maintain the traditional Father Christmas story at all times, ensuring as an Elf you are only seen by guests in character and not in any other capacity.
• Maintain enthusiasm, positivity, and character throughout, whilst delivering the highest level of customer service.
• Maintain the standards of the Father Christmas experience to ensure it always looks magical and authentic.
• Ensure the toy area is stocked throughout the day and each night with presents for the next day.

You MUST be able to attend on the following dates:

Group interview - either Wednesday 30 th September OR Tuesday 6 th October 2026 (4.30pm – 6.00pm)

Elf training - Saturday 14th AND Sunday 15 th November 2026 (10am - 3pm)

You must be at least 16 years old and available to work on a variety of dates in late November & December 2026, mainly weekends. Full training will be provided.
