Job summary

Marks & Spencer Plc is seeking a Customer Assistant in Operations to be the backstage powerhouse that keeps our stores running. The role is physically demanding and night-focused, with Saturday to Monday shifts and potential extension to full-time hours during December.

You'll manage stock and deliveries, ensure the shop floor stays full and tidy, and use digital tools to track stock and deliveries. Flexibility across the store and a strong team-first attitude are essential.

Saturday 21:00-07:00
Sunday 21:00-07:00
Monday 21:00-07:00

Due to operational requirements, all successful candidates may be asked to work up to full time hours in the weeks commencing 13th and 20th December.

To comply with health and safety legislation and keep our colleagues safe in the workplace, colleagues in this role must be 18 years of age or older.

Please note that the + £3.00 p/h unsocial premium is only added on any hours worked between 22:00-06:00.

Being a team player is essential. You’ll be a key cog in a big machine, working across functions and supporting colleagues across the store.

Flexibility is vital. From early morning deliveries to shifting stock late into the day, you’ll adapt quickly to keep things moving.
