Job summary

Silverstone Circuits Limited is hiring Christmas Elves for the festive period at Silverstone. You will engage with visitors, greet families, and assist with Santa’s Garage and Lap of Lights while staying in character and maintaining festive energy.

Dates are during December 2026 with shifts 13:00–22:00; previous customer service or performance experience is welcome but not required. DBS/background checks will be completed as part of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, friendly and great with children.
• Comfortable in costume and performing in character.
• Comfortable working outside during winter months.
• Available evenings, weekends and over the festive period.
• Previous customer service and performance experience is desirable but not essential.
• Comfortable working close to strobe lighting.

Responsibilities

• Be the definition of Christmas spirit by greeting and engaging with the public in a fun, happy and festive manner
• Support in the management of queues and public flow in entertainment areas, including ticket checking where required
• Provide information, directions and answer questions from the public
• Support in the delivery of Santa’s Garage, the Lap of Lights and other festival entertainment areas
• Resetting areas throughout and at end of your shift (including sweeping floors and restocking activity stations)
• You must feel confident in reporting any incidents, accidents, challenges or concerns within the reporting process
• Staying in character at all times, you will be representing not only Silverstone but the magic of Christmas throughout your time with us so remaining in character is essential
