Whether you work within one of our Specialist Art Departments, or in one of our more Operational teams, we are all working together with one common goal in mind: to continue the success of this 250 year old company, steeped in history, bringing fresh ideas whilst not forgetting our shared values; Integrity, Excellence, Innovation, Responsibility & Relationships. Colleagues across all departments are truly passionate about what they do and it is inspiring to work with industry leaders across our business.

Why This Role Matters

A highly organised, responsible, and efficient Programme Manager with a well-established network in the art world, a deep understanding of art and art business education, and significant administrative experience. This client- and stakeholder-facing role demands exceptional administration, communication, and organisational skills. The successful candidate will be instrumental in organising and executing education programmes, including development, planning and ensuring the seamless delivery of Continuing Education offerings for Christie’s Education across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Collaborate with the Programme Director to plan all in-person courses, working closely with stakeholders across Christie's, including the President’s Office, Marketing Department, and Sales Departments, to ensure alignment with our strategic goals and brand values.

  • Guarantee students receive an immersive Christie’s experience throughout their educational journey, from registration to post-course engagement, fostering a sense of community and ongoing connection with Christie’s Education.

  • Coordinate with third-party lecturers and art world professionals for booking, managing, and providing support, ensuring their needs are met for the successful delivery of content.

  • Design and manage itineraries for multi-day in-person courses across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East, addressing logistical and educational requirements.

  • Accompany students on location for courses, overseeing the educational experience and addressing immediate needs of lecturers and students to ensure high satisfaction and learning outcomes.

  • Develop and execute intensive summer schools targeting top clients and strategic groups in collaboration with the Programme Director, aiming to enhance our client engagement.

  • Host live-stream lectures, demonstrating adeptness with digital platforms and fostering interactive and engaging learning environments.

  • Serve as the contact for all client services, managing inquiries and support through phone, email, WhatsApp and iMessage with professionalism.

  • Deliver high levels of administrative support: registering clients to in-person, live-stream and online programming, issuing certificates, updating and creating course pages on the learning management system, posting to the alumni community with job opportunities, complimentary events, and more.

  • Liaise with the Finance Department regarding payments and invoicing.

  • Manage P&L and cost- and revenue-reporting.

  • Collaborate with Christie’s Marketing Department to develop compelling email campaigns, social media content, and other marketing collateral to promote the education programmes effectively.

  • Work with the Programme Director and course lecturers to produce comprehensive course materials, including welcome packs, handbooks, registers, timetables, and bibliographies, ensuring materials are informative, accessible, and aligned with Christie’s standards.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Operations, AV, William Norris, Events, Security, Facilities and Client Services) to ensure all logistical aspects of course delivery are flawlessly executed.

  • Be available during course evenings as required, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the programme’s success.

  • Engage in frequent public speaking, introducing programmes and lecturers, moderating questions and conversations, and answering course-related queries live with an audience – in person and virtually.

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Experience planning and coordinating in-person courses and events.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal departments and stakeholders.

  • Willingness to travel and support on-site course delivery, including evenings.

  • Familiarity with designing and managing multi-day course itineraries.

  • Comfortable hosting live online sessions using digital platforms.

  • Experience managing client communications across multiple channels (e.g., phone, email, messaging apps).

  • Strong administrative skills related to course registration, certification, and online platforms.

  • Experience handling payments, invoicing, and financial reporting.

  • Ability to contribute to marketing efforts, including email campaigns and social media.

  • Skilled in producing course materials and documentation.

  • Capable of coordinating logistics with internal operational teams.

  • Comfortable speaking in public and moderating live or virtual events.
