Are you a skilled Gas Engine Generator Technician with experience in CHP systems and multi‑disciplinary power plant environments? Join a thriving and expanding team delivering premier energy solutions across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Operate, maintain, and commission CHP gas power generation systems at client sites across the UK.
Conduct routine and preventative maintenance, mechanical overhauls, and modify control systems for enhanced performance.
Diagnose faults, undertake troubleshooting, and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.
Perform performance testing, analysis, and maintain accurate operational and maintenance records.
Mentor junior engineers and support generator installation phases.
Coordinate service scheduling and manage maintenance spares cost‑effectively.
Maintain strong relationships with clients and liaise with contractors.
Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven hands‑on experience with CHP gas generation systems (e.g., Siemens, MWM, MAN, PSI/Ford).
Strong mechanical overhaul and control systems modification expertise.
Confidence working independently with excellent communication, organisational skills, and fault‑finding ability.
Clean UK driving licence (essential).
Experience commissioning controls (flows, pressures) and diagnosing control system faults.
Ideal candidate will be based in Scotland or willing to travel across the region and the wider UK.
