Senior Sales Development Executive, Mainstream
Location: Canary Wharf, Hybrid
Salary: 32-37K
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage and collaborate with distributors to achieve annual sales targets.
- Identify and develop potential business opportunities to enhance retail sales growth.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, retailers, and partners to foster effective support and partnerships.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Ensure consistent stock supply across all trade channels and maintain healthy inventory levels at distributor warehouses to prevent supply interruptions.
- Plan and oversee trade activities with distributors and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Track changes in country regulations by working closely with importers.
- Develop key accounts.
- Represent the brand at key trade customer meetings and events.
- Coordinate with other functions to execute strategies and plans effectively.
- Monitor and analyze sales and advertising & promotion performance.
- Protect the brand’s integrity and ensure it is accurately represented in the local market.
Education & Experience:
- University degree or equivalent; a degree in Business or Marketing is advantageous.
- At least 2 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry, preferably with experience in distributor management, supply chain, and trade marketing.
Requirements & Skills:
- Legal permission to work in the UK and ability to travel within Europe.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Valid driving license for UK and Europe travel.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office for reporting and analysis.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, with frequent travel.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented.
- Ability to supervise teams and collaborate across functions.
- Organized, disciplined, and excellent in people skills, communication, and social interactions.
- A passion for Chinese cuisine and cooking skills are considered an advantage.
