Job summary

Vector Recruitment Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Reactive Chiller Engineer to cover the Midlands and wider UK, based in Redditch with depot duties and nationwide travel. You will lead installs, commissioning and reactive maintenance of large air‑cooled chillers for critical environments.

The role emphasizes hands-on delivery, fault diagnosis, and close collaboration with the Redditch depot team, with enhanced pay for out-of-hours and travel, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: F-Gas Refrigeration certification.
• Mandatory: clean UK Driving Licence.
• Mandatory: ability to pass a standard DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service and decommission temporary commercial air-cooled chillers and chilled water systems.
• Provide reactive breakdown response and fault-finding on complex chiller plant and secondary chilled water circuits.
• Support Redditch depot operations with workshop servicing, equipment prep and yard-based maintenance.
• Modify mechanical pipework and interface with BMS controls in commercial plant rooms and temporary setups.
