Job summary

Gap Personnel Limited is recruiting a Warehouse Picker for a busy distribution centre in Normanton WF6. The role involves accurately picking customer orders within a chilled warehouse using voice-picking technology and handheld scanners, with an afternoon shift.

The position offers a fixed 4-day working week across Friday to Tuesday, with shifts 2:00pm–10:00pm and PPE provided; prior warehouse experience and comfort with cold environments are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in warehouse picking or distribution is preferred.
• Experience with scanners or voice-picking systems is advantageous.
• Good attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to work on your feet and perform manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and a team player.
• Comfortable working in a chilled warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Picking orders using a headset (voice-picking system).
• Using handheld scanners to process stock and orders.
• Working efficiently to achieve productivity targets.
• Ensuring orders are picked accurately and safely.
• Following all site Health & Safety procedures.
• Maintaining good housekeeping standards within the warehouse.
