Job summary

Staffline is recruiting a Warehouse Operative in Avonmouth for a temporary assignment with new pay rates from 1st November 2026. Roles include picking fresh produce in a large chilled warehouse and operating pallet trucks, with shifts from 2pm to 10pm, 4pm to 12am or 6pm to 12am, with possible finishes at 2am.

Current rates are £15.08–£27.60 per hour, with potential overtime and a temp-to-perm pathway. Staffline provides on-site support, training, and facilities including a canteen and parking.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse picking or goods handling.
• Able to operate pallet trucks and adhere to safety procedures.
• Physically fit with stamina for extended shifts.

Responsibilities

• Using manual handling equipment in a large chilled warehouse to pick a variety of fresh produce.
• Operating manual and electric pallet trucks and stacking items into roll cages.
• Other duties may include loading/unloading and site hygiene.
