Job summary

Muller Severnside is recruiting for Coldstore Operatives in the Chill department. You will manually pack milk into trolleys for despatch and ensure the chill area is kept clean and orderly while handling all goods outwards.

This full-time, permanent role operates on a 4 on 4 off pattern with 2x days and 2x nights (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am) and requires working in a chilled environment with PPE provided. A supportive team and focus on safety and efficiency are central to the role.

Qualifications

• Excellent team worker.
• Food manufacturing experience desirable.
• Experience working in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manually pack product into trolleys for despatch to the Distribution Centres.
• Manually pack products into trolleys ensuring the products are fit for purpose.
• Operative shrink-wrapping machine.
• Report defects, accidents or violations.
• Transport full and empty trolleys across the chill.
• Deep cleaning of equipment and trolleys.
• Ensuring good manufacturing, housekeeping, hygiene, and health and safety standards throughout shifts.
