We are recruiting for Chill Production Operatives

We are currently seeking Production Operatives to join our busy Production Department at Droitwich Dairy within Müller Milk & Ingredients.

The successful candidates will aim to process products safely and efficiently, producing high-quality finished goods while continuously improving in line with Müller values.

Contract: Full Time/Permanent

Salary: Starting from £28,537 per annum plus overtime premiums

Shift Pattern: 6am–3pm / 3pm–Midnight

Note: This role requires working within a chilled environment; all PPE including Hi-Vis coats is provided.

Responsibilities include:

• Operate complex equipment to ensure production plans are met.
• Effectively operate equipment and processes, including asset care, maximizing output, reducing waste, and saving costs.
• Replenish materials as needed.
• Perform chemical testing as per performance accreditation.
• Complete operational documentation accurately.
• Maintain safety standards for yourself and colleagues.
• Communicate issues proactively and maintain a positive attitude.
• Uphold high hygiene standards.
• Follow food safety and site quality procedures.
• Prioritize health and safety, encouraging positive behaviors.
• Complete mandatory training timely, including health, safety, and food hygiene.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and Müller excellence initiatives.
• Undergo chemical and environmental awareness training.

Note: Working within a chilled environment; PPE is provided.

Required skills, experience, and knowledge:

• Manual packing experience is desirable but not essential.
• Capability and accountability in tasks.
• Flexible approach to changing production plans.
• Initiative and prioritization skills.
• Effective team collaboration.
