Job description

Waking Night Support Worker **

We are recruiting for a Waking Night Support Worker to work in an Ofsted registered children's 3 bedroom residential home, which is part of Brook View school.

Location: Ribchester, PR3.

Contract: Temp to Permanent. (1x Full time 40 hours pw)

Shifts: 2 nights on, 2 nights off.

Rate of Pay:

Level 3 Qualified rate - £14.20 per hour/ £31,012.80 per annum

Unqualified rate- £13.50 per hour/ £29,484.00 per annum

We do require staff who hold a Full UK driving license for this role **

The company provides high quality residential care and education for children and young people with mental health conditions such as Autism, Social, Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties and complex needs associated with challenging behaviour.

Purpose of the position:

  • Your role is to support our children to maintain and develop relationships with friends and family, encourage them to integrate with the local community by attending clubs or day centres and to support the children in all aspects of their daily living.
  • You will safeguard vulnerable children and report any suspicion or evidence of harm and when the children are not in the service you will undertake housekeeping and maintain standards of hygiene within the home.
