Overview

Prospero Health and Social Care is currently recruiting experienced staff for floating support for Children in Kirklees.

Responsibilities
  • Face new challenges with a can-do attitude and be willing to go above and beyond for the children in their care to better their lives, promoting independence, being a role model and achieving a successful home environment for them to live, in line with local authority care plans.
Requirements
  • 12 months paid experience within the health and social care sector
  • Previous experience in a support worker, youth work is essential
  • Flexible around travel arrangements
  • Able to work flexibly (good availability)
  • Resilient and empathetic, with a strong commitment to helping vulnerable young people
  • NVQ Level 3 in children and young people (desired but not essential)
  • Social Care registered
Experience
  • Children and Young People Support: 1 year (required)
  • Experience taking children into community
Licence/Certification
  • Driving Licence (preferred)
