Job Description:

As a Children's Speech and Language Therapist, you will deliver face-to-face therapy sessions for children with communication and language disorders. You will work collaboratively with families and healthcare professionals to provide effective therapeutic interventions.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders in children.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessments.
• Provide face-to-face therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques.
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to set and achieve goals.
• Monitor and document progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
• Guide and support parents/caregivers with strategies for home practice.
• Stay updated with current research in speech and language therapy.
• Attend team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with standards.

Requirements:

• Speech and Language Therapy Degree.
• Registration with HCPC as a Speech and Language Therapist.
• Membership with RCSLT or equivalent.
• Experience in delivering speech and language therapy to children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Flexibility to meet diverse client needs.
• Enhanced DBS within the last 12 months; fast track possible via the update service.

• Shift Pattern: 09:00 – 17:00 (flexible)
• Competitive weekly pay
