Rate: £33.30
An exciting job role has recently become available at Stoke on Trent. They are looking for a new member for their Children and Family Services Team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a close-knit team.
What will your responsibilities be?
As a Senior Children’s Social Worker working with children and families, you will be responsible for safeguarding and protecting children by identifying risks, developing and implementing protection plans, and collaborating with other agencies. You will manage cases by conducting assessments, monitoring progress, and maintaining accurate records. Additionally, you will provide emotional support, advocate for children’s rights, mentor junior staff, and lead case discussions. Essential skills include safeguarding expertise, effective communication, analytical abilities, and empathy.

As a Senior Children’s Social Worker, you will need a degree in Social Work, registration with the relevant professional body, and at least 3 years of post-ASYE experience. Additionally, you will need experience in leadership and mentoring, as well as a commitment to advocating for children’s rights.
