Qualifications

Job Title: Social Worker – Looked After Children Team
Location: Dudley
Rate: Competitive

A Children’s Social Worker is required to join Dudley’s Children in Service Team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a close-knit team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Completing Children and Family Assessments
  2. Conducting Section 47 enquiries
  3. Care Planning and pathway planning
  4. Completing risk assessments and safety planning
  5. Writing reports for LAC reviews
  6. Attending PEP meetings
  7. Writing initial court statements and care plans
  8. Applying for care orders and revocation of care orders
  9. Engaging in pre-proceedings and care proceedings
  10. Conducting viability assessments and sibling assessments
  11. Working with young people at home on care orders or in foster care

Requirements:

  • You must hold a Social Work England registration
  • Be eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Have post-qualified experience
  • Possess a degree level or equivalent qualification in Social Work
