Job description

Children's Social Worker, Birmingham Children's Trust

Working with 16 and 17-year-olds who are at risk of homelessness or present as homeless on the day. Responsibilities include:

  1. S17 assessment and CIN plans to be undertaken within specified timescales
  2. Supporting YP under S20
  3. Completing pathway plans
  4. Supporting vulnerable people who have experienced trauma, attachment difficulties, CCE, CSE, mental health issues
  5. Completing direct work with families to prevent YP coming into care using a therapeutic approach
  6. Working with colleagues in Edge of Care, Family Group Conference, Family Connectors, and universal services
  7. Understanding of Southwark Judgement is required

Pay rate: £33.30 per hour
