Job summary

Service Care Solutions are recruiting an experienced Children''s Social Worker to join the dedicated Court Team at Cheshire East Council in Crewe. The role involves managing a small caseload of 5–6 care proceedings and delivering court-ready assessments and reports to support positive outcomes for children and families.

This specialist court-focused position offers support from a dedicated team and clear statutory timescales, with opportunities to collaborate with legal partners and safeguarding

Qualifications

• Social Work Degree, Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Current Social Work England registration.
• Experience within Children's Social Care.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection and care proceedings.
• Excellent assessment, report writing and court work skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage children subject to care proceedings from start to conclusion.
• Complete court reports, assessments, statements and care plans.
• Attend court hearings and provide professional evidence when required.

£39.00 per hour Umbrella | Temporary Agency Contract

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Children's Social Worker to join the dedicated Court Team at Cheshire East Council. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a specialist court-focused team managing a low caseload of approximately 5-6 care proceedings cases, allowing you to focus on achieving positive outcomes for children and families throughout the court process.

Key Responsibilities
