Childrens Social Work Assistant – Duty and Assessment - Stoke on Trent

Pay rate – £16.28 per hour

Pertemps are recruiting for Social Work Assistants to join the Duty and Assessment Team in Stoke on Trent.

Responsibilities

• Completion of direct work with children and families, providing parenting support and interventions, conducting additional visits, and completing case records such as chronologies and case summaries.
• Assist in obtaining information and conducting lateral checks to inform assessments, supervise family time, support children where no placements are identified, manage transports to school and family time, work with parents regarding budgeting, and encourage them to access services within family hubs and local communities.
