Childrens Senior Social Worker Duty and Assessment #5268343

Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

We have opportunities for experienced (plus 3yrs pq) social workers in our Disabled Children’s Team.

The candidate must be experienced within the Disabled Children’s Service. There has never been a more exciting time to join Liverpool Children’s Services as a social worker. We have a high quality senior leadership team who are committed to collaborative practice improvement and making Liverpool a place where good social work can flourish. We have a stable, permanent team manager and service manager group, you will be supported in your practice by your manager and receive regular reflective supervision.

We have good range of support services in Liverpool including a Family Group Conference Service, family support workers within teams and an extensive Early Help Offer to support the children and families of our city and the work you do.

We offer

• an initial 3-month minimum contract to create stability for our children and young people

• A 35-hour week . Hybrid working model, 3 days in Liverpool per week

The city is well connected by rail, and road and is easily accessible and commutable from nearly cities and towns.

If you are an experienced social worker who would like to join our journey at this exciting time for Liverpool we would love to hear from you. please note that we will not accept any application from a social worker who has less than 3 years post qualified permanent experience for this position, they must also have completed their ASYE.
