An exciting opportunity has arisen in one of our children’s homes for Residential Team Leaders!

We are looking for caring and compassionate Team Leaders who wish to make a positive difference in the lives of children and young people by leading support workers through example.

  • Salary: £14.17 - £14.99 per hour (£29,473.60 - £31,179.20 per year)
  • Sleep-in shifts: £30 per shift (additional approx. £3,120 per year for 2 sleep-ins per week)
  • Annual leave: 224 hours paid
  • Work schedule: Rotas provided 4 weeks in advance, shifts include long hours and sleep-ins, operating 365 days a year including holidays
Job role:
  • Supporting children and young people in line with Ofsted regulations
  • Planning rotas and supporting meetings and appointments
  • Assisting in implementing the Statement of Purpose
  • Supervising in the absence of managers
  • Fostering a diverse, safe, and family-like environment
Requirements:
  • You must be at least 21 years old (per Ofsted regulations)
  • Driving preferred but not essential, depending on location
  • Enrolled in a workplace pension scheme after three months
  • Opportunity for career progression: Support Worker → Team Leader → Deputy Manager
  • Paid 10-day induction course
