Department: Residential

Location: Rosehip - Mirfield

Compensation: £31,918 - £32,540 / year

Hours: 2 days on, 4 days off (with sleep nights). We are a 365-day-a-year service due to the nature of our work. Rota provided in advance.

Pay rate: £31,917 to £32,540 per annum* (depending on qualification), with opportunities for overtime at an enhanced rate.

What we are looking for:

We seek nurturing and supportive individuals capable of providing outstanding childcare and helping young people achieve positive outcomes. Our Warrington home offers a smaller, therapeutic placement setting where support includes domestic needs, education, social skills, fun activities, and excursions.

*Estimated salary based on a pay rate of £12.60-£12.90 per hour and working 8 sleep nights per month at £60 each, effective from 1st April 2025.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a children’s residential care setting (desirable)
  • Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (desirable)
  • UK driving license (essential)
  • Right to work in the UK (essential)
  • Values aligned with Esland’s, including a therapeutic, person-centered approach (essential)
  • Age 21 or above (industry regulation)

Employment is contingent on satisfactory checks, including DBS, right to work, and references, with costs covered by the company.
