Job description

We are seeking experienced Residential Children's Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants for a Children's Homes and Young People's Homes in the Kidderminster area. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children/young people in your care. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.

Job Summary:

You will provide care and support to residents of Children’s Homes and Young People's services in the Telford area. If you are an active, passionate and empathetic individual who has experience withing in children’s residential services, please apply today.

Vacancy details:

  • Salary: £12.21 P/H
  • Temporary to Permanent/Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for children
  • Support young people through their daily routines
  • Act as a role model
  • Maintaining a safe and clean home environment
  • Following Care plans and Risk Assessments
  • Communicating with residents and colleagues

Experience/Requirements:

  • Min 2 year experience in residential children's care home preferably with emotional and behavioural needs children.
  • Driving license preferred or in process of obtaining.
  • Enthusiastic, hardworking and works well with others.
  • Willingness to commit to temp to perm contract post Ofsted.
  • Full time availability preferred not sponsored at this time.
  • NVQ level 3 preferred
