Job summary

Cambian Group is seeking enthusiastic residential care workers to support children and young people in our care. You will build strong relationships, run engaging activities, provide one-on-one support, and assist with planning and recording for reviews, with sleep-in shifts and training provided.

No two days are the same in this caring, dynamic role as you help young people make positive choices, participate in outings, and contribute to a warm, safe home environment.

Qualifications

• No prior experience necessary, only a commitment and passion for working with young people.
• Minimum age requirement: 21 years old.
• Full UK driving license preferable but not essential.
• Overtime rate of x1.25.

• Meeting the needs of children and young people, organising social activities and maintaining the home (laundry, cooking, cleaning shopping etc.)

We are looking for enthusiastic residential care workers to join our amazing team, building strong relationships and fostering a warm, supportive, and rewarding environment to the children and young people in our care. No two days are the same in this dynamic and fulfilling role! From planning engaging activities and providing one-on-one support to accompanying young people on off-site trips, each day presents new challenges and opportunities. As a residential care worker, you'll need to be adaptable, flexible, and skilled at reading situations to help guide young people towards making positive choices. For this role, whilst experience is preferred it is not necessary - if you have a positive, can-do attitude and the passion to make a real, meaningful difference to the lives of children and young people then this is the perfect role for you!,

• Minimum age requirement: 21 years old

• Must have availability for sleep-in shifts
  £14.50 - £15.00 per hour (dependant on experience) PLUS an additional £30 per sleep in
• A full two weeks of paid training before starting the role
• Overtime rate of x1.25

Our Shift Patterns:

• 2 - 3 shifts per week on a full-time basis sleep ins are mandatory., £30 additional payment per sleep-in shift
• Enhanced DBS covered
• Comprehensive induction and training provided
• 2-3 shifts per week for an excellent work/life balance
• Rota provided 4 weeks in advance
