Salary: £25,905-£28,410

We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Child Care Workers to join our team and provide outstanding care and support to children and young people aged 12-17. This role is ideal for individuals who are optimistic, empathetic, and committed to making a real difference in the lives of young people.

About The Role

As a Child Care Worker, you'll play a crucial part in creating a nurturing, respectful, and safe environment for children and young people who may have experienced trauma, abuse, or neglect, and who may have learning difficulties, be neuro-diverse, or have mental health needs.

You will help young people feel safe, empowered, and supported to reach their full potential in a home that promotes positive relationships, stability, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with the home's statement of purpose
  • Support the emotional, social, and physical development of young people
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies
  • Uphold and promote good childcare practices aligned with professional values

Requirements

  • Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent), or willingness to complete this via a funded Apprenticeship
  • A positive, compassionate attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
