Childrens Residential Support Worker

Compensation: £31,918 - £32,540 / year

Description

Do you want to make a difference to a child’s life? Then become a highly valued Children's Residential Support Worker and start a truly rewarding career!

Hours: 2 days on, 4 days off (with sleep nights). We operate a 365-day service due to the nature of our work. Rota schedules are provided in advance.

Pay rate: £31,917 to £32,540 per annum* (depending on qualification), with opportunities for overtime at an enhanced rate.

What we are looking for:

We seek nurturing, supportive individuals capable of delivering outstanding childcare and helping our young people achieve remarkable outcomes. Our Warrington home is a smaller, therapeutic placement setting where the team supports young people with domestic needs, education, social skills, and engaging activities and trips.

*Estimated salary based on a pay rate of £12.60 to £12.90 per hour for days (depending on qualifications) plus an average of 8 sleep nights per month at £60 per sleep night. Rates effective from 1st April 2025.

Requirements for a Children's Residential Support Worker:
  • Experience in a children's residential care home (desirable)
  • Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Right to work in the UK without restrictions (essential)
  • Alignment with Esland's values, including a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare (essential)
  • Age 21 or above due to industry regulations (essential)
