Overview

Compass Associates is pleased to partner with a specialist provider of high-quality residential care for vulnerable children and young people in the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate manager to take on a new challenge!

The Registered Manager role is pivotal to ensure that all children's and staffing needs are met while maintaining a safe, welcoming, and person-centred environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, a commitment to high standards of care, and a passion for improving the lives of children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Salary & Benefits
  1. Salary: negotiable depending on experience, including a range of performance-related bonuses
  2. Holiday Entitlement: 28 days gradually increasing to 32 days after 4 years of service + additional 3.5 days of leave (birthday, health & wellbeing day, festive celebrations)

Ideal Candidate Profile
  1. 5+ years of direct experience in residential childcare settings.
  2. 2+ years in a supervisory or management role, overseeing staff in a care environment.
  3. NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent).
  4. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England).
  5. Consistently achieved "Good" or "Outstanding" in recent Ofsted inspections.
