About Us: Join our team at a specialized two-bed children's home in Burton-on-Trent, offering trauma and intervention support to young individuals in need. We are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment where children can heal, grow, and thrive.
Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Children's Home Manager to lead and manage our home. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of home management experience in children's services and hold at least a Level 3 NVQ in Management. The home provides short term, trauma informed therapeutic intervention placements to 8 to 18 year olds. Each child is there on a 12 week placement and there is only 2 children at one time. We therefore seeking someone with a really good knowledge surrounding regs and procedures, referrals and transitions out of the home (as placements are twelve weeks and we cater for two young people at a time, this is a key aspect of the role) and ideally someone with some knowledge/experience around AALA (although this isn't essential as we will provide training).

• A car allowance of £3,600 per annum
• Full support within your role and a good work/life balance within a friendly, close-knit team
• A warm, family work environment and a company culture focused on fun!
• 33 days annual leave
• Fantastic opportunities for career development
• A day off for your birthday (in addition to your holiday entitlement)
• Access to a holiday home based in the Peak District where you can stay for free, on the company!
• Much more!

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the children's home.
• Provide leadership and support to staff, ensuring high standards of care and support.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for each child.
• Foster a positive and safe environment for children to develop and achieve their potential.
• Liaise with external agencies, families, and professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the children.
• Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of home management experience in children's services.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
