What You\'ll Do as Deputy Manager

In this pivotal leadership role, you will use your skills and compassion to make a significant difference in the lives of children in your care. You will build positive, trusting relationships with young people, ensuring their needs are met and their safety is always the priority.

Your responsibilities will include
  • Supervising and supporting staff, leading shifts, and managing rotas.
  • Leading team meetings and fostering effective communication across the team.
  • Ensuring placement plans are followed and educational support is in place.
  • Maintaining compliance with policies, procedures, and risk assessments, and ensuring they are regularly updated.
  • Promoting the welfare and wellbeing of each child, while guiding and mentoring the wider staff team.
