Job summary

Ukma (Af) Ltd is seeking a responsible supervisor to oversee children's play areas, inflatables, and marquee events. You will ensure safety, plan activities, and coordinate with contractors to keep equipment in good condition.

Responsibilities include daily safety checks, buying marquee items, and supporting birthday parties and events for children. A current First Aid qualification is required, along with experience in similar roles and strong teamwork.

Job description

• Supervise children in designated play areas, including the marquee and inflatables, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Plan and organise creative activities and events, such as treasure hunts and performing arts, tailored to different age groups.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of play areas and equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
• Conduct daily safety checks of the inflatables area and arrange for repairs or maintenance as needed.
• Source and purchase items for the marquee and assist in planning its setup each season.
• Provide first aid and take appropriate action in the event of accidents or emergencies.
• Care for and ensure the well-being of any animals belonging to the client, reporting any concerns to the Office Manager.
• Liaise with contractors and suppliers for the children's play equipment, reporting any issues immediately.
• Research ideas and refine proposals for both inflatables and arcade games.
• Help in the planning and execution of birthday parties and events for the children.
• Provide cover for colleagues during absences.
• Any tasks or responsibilities as requested by management within the scope of the position. Experience in a similar role working with children.
• Current First Aid qualification.
