Location: Milton Keynes
Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour
Shifts Available: 20hrs per week | during school half term - 1 pm-6 pm | During school term time 3:30 pm-8:30 pm

This role involves caring for a child who is immobile, non-verbal, and has seizures. Your key duties will include providing personal care, seizure management, Peg feed support, and moving and handling. You will make a significant difference to this child's and their family's lives. The child enjoys being taken out for walks and being read to.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills as a Complex Care Assistant. Full training and clinical support will be provided to develop skills in areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care. We support individuals of all ages with complex needs like spinal cord injuries, muscular dystrophy, and acquired brain injuries. Each day presents new challenges, and your efforts will brighten clients’ days while you grow professionally.
What you’ll need: No complex care experience is necessary, as full training and ongoing support will be provided to develop skills in key areas like tracheostomy care, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care.
