Shifts Available: Waking night shifts – 22:00 – 8:00 | 2 shifts per week | Shifts every other weekend

Job Description

What you’ll do

In this role, you will support a young child with a tracheostomy and PEG feed. While training will be provided, we are looking for someone with experience in tracheostomy and PEG feed management, and caring for children.

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills and join us as a Complex Care Assistant.

You will receive full training and clinical support to develop skills in areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care, among others.

We care for and support people of all ages in the community and in their homes, with conditions like Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries, and other complex needs. Every day will be different, presenting new challenges. You will be making a difference in your clients’ lives while developing your skills and knowledge.

What you’ll need

Experience caring for children with tracheostomy and PEG feeds is required. This role offers a chance to make a meaningful difference by providing care and support to a child's family.

You will receive comprehensive training and ongoing clinical support to develop in key areas such as tracheostomy care, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care.
