Job summary

Care By Us Ltd in Basildon is seeking a dedicated care professional to support a young child at home. You will provide tracheostomy care, PEG feed support, suction, personal care and medication administration in a family setting, ensuring safety and comfort.

The role requires punctuality, reliability and professionalism; full training will be provided for all clinical interventions, with DBS check covered and clear progression within the CARE group.

Qualifications

• Experience with clinical care in a home setting is preferred.
• Ability to follow care plans and maintain strict infection control.

What you’ll do

Working in the family home of a young child, you will make a real difference in providing care and support to this family by ensuring the safety and comfort of their child. There is a pet dog in the home.

This is a very important and rewarding role that requires a confident, caring and friendly care professional.We are seeking a care professional who is punctual, reliable and will provide consistency for our client.

The key tasks with this role include:

• Tracheostomy care
• PEG feed support
• Suction
• Personal care
• Administration of medication
• Clinical observations

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for someone who is fully committed, consistent and will remain professional at all times.

The only clinical requirement that you will need to be successfully offered an interview is to have experience with tracheostomies, preferably a paediatric care background, otherwise full training will be provided for the other clinical interventions involved in this package.
