The Lifetime Service is a Community Nursing and Psychology Service for Children and young people with life-limiting, life-threatening conditions and those who meet Children's Continuing Care criteria.

The service is based in Kingswood, South Gloucestershire, and currently provides a service across four Integrated Care Board (ICB) areas, supporting children aged 0-19 and their families in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, and B&NES.
In addition, the service has a Continuing Care Team (CCT), which supports children at home with complex health needs and children who are technology dependent.
The purpose of this role is to undertake clinical shifts working alongside the Lifetime support workers in the child's home or school setting, observing their clinical competencies and undertaking annual clinical assessments to provide outstanding care and support to the children and their families who meet Continuing Care Criteria (Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, and B&NES). This role includes clinical support to the rota coordination team.
This role will take on the line management of a number of Lifetime Support Workers, which includes management and assessment of the wider team, having regular one-on-one meetings, performance development reviews, and absence management meetings to support the team leaders. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist in the delivery of clinical skills training days, upskilling support workers and ensuring the team provides evidence-based interventions in line with national guidance.
The role will require travel across Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire, visiting service users within their own homes and occasionally in schools, in addition to meeting and liaising with other teams and services involved in the child's care.

£29,970 to £36,483 a year Per annum, pro rata
