Children’s Complex Care Assistant

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Children’s Complex Care Assistant. You will receive full training and clinical support to develop skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care, among others. We care for and support people of all ages, in the community and in their homes, with conditions like Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries, and more. Every day presents new challenges, and you'll be making a positive difference in your clients' lives while developing your skills and knowledge.

What you’ll do

As a Children’s Complex Care Assistant, you will:

• Receive comprehensive nurse-led training to support individuals with complex needs
• Assist with ongoing care for clients with conditions such as PEG feeding, mobility challenges, and challenging behaviors
• Support clients with diverse needs in their homes and community settings

What you’ll need

No prior care experience is necessary. We value care, compassion, and resilience. Experience working with children is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided to support clients with chronic conditions requiring ongoing care.
