GLL is seeking a Children's Activity Instructor to join the team at Waddon Leisure Centre. This role involves supporting operational services across the centre, including fitness and sales, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service in a leisure environment.
The ideal candidate thrives in busy settings, is adaptable, and handles various responsibilities such as customer service, bookings, safety, and cleanliness to ensure an exceptional experience for visitors.
Requirements include a First Aid at Work certificate, the ability to remain calm under pressure, responsibility, and excellent interpersonal skills. Flexibility, punctuality, reliability, integrity, and a positive attitude are essential, along with a passion for customer service.

What you’ll do:
- Maintain a positive image of the centre by providing welcoming and professional service
- Prepare areas and equipment for activities and events
- Monitor and perform basic maintenance on equipment, reporting faults as needed
- Ensure the effective operation of events and activities, maintaining security, cleanliness, supervision, and equipment checks
- Use equipment safely and ensure it is fit for purpose
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness at all times
- Promote the facility positively to retain and attract customers
