Overview

Playworks are looking to recruit dynamic Children's Activity Coaches with a passion for one or more of the following:

• Music
• Craft
• Sports (group games, MultiSports, Yoga, etc.)
• Dance
• Cookery
• Gardening
• Science

Responsibilities

The main tasks of the role are to plan and deliver sessions for children aged 3 – 11 years attending our after school clubs (full kit of equipment for activities will be provided). As well as delivering planned activities you will assist in providing a safe and stimulating play environment for the children attending. You will work in line with the standards set out by CIW (Care Inspectorate Wales) and Playworks Childcare Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Willing to undertake Paediatric First Aid Training
• Willing to undertake Safeguarding training
• Enhanced DBS check is required for this role; the cost must be covered by the candidate
• Access to a car is essential, as you will be required to travel between Playworks settings; mileage will be paid for travel associated with the role
