A leading mental health organization is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to manage and provide supervision within a multi-disciplinary team. This role involves delivering low-intensity interventions in schools, supporting team members, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance mental health services for children and young people. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health, experience with CBT, and a commitment to working with diverse communities.
Purpose of the Job: You will work in a multi-disciplinary team, managing and providing clinical and case management supervision to team members. You will also handle your own caseload and deliver MHST interventions in schools. The team primarily includes Qualified and Trainee Educational Mental Health Practitioners delivering group and individual low-intensity CBT interventions to children and young people, along with support packages for parents/caregivers. You will have an active caseload of children and adolescents with mild to moderate emotional and mental health difficulties, using evidence-based therapeutic models.
Low-intensity, early interventions will be delivered across various education settings (primary, secondary, colleges). This role includes training education professionals and developing the team’s capacity to serve the whole school community, including caregivers. You will work with CYP and families from diverse cultural backgrounds, using interpreters when necessary, and must be committed to equal opportunities. Collaboration with colleagues and partners such as the Local Authority, SET CAMHS, education settings, and other mental health providers is essential.
