Job summary

P+S Care and Support Services in Cambridge is seeking a Children's Support Worker to help care for and support children under 16 in a residential setting. You will work as part of a friendly agency team, helping to create a safe, nurturing environment and build positive relationships with young people. Experience is welcome but not essential.

As a CYP Support Worker, no two days are the same. Some days might be movies, popcorn, games with building positive relationships; other days can be more challenging, with heightened emotions, distressed behaviour or situations where a young person may go missing. You'll need to stay calm, patient and resilient, supporting young people through difficult moments while celebrating the good ones. It's not always easy, but every small win makes a difference.
