Overview

We are looking for a Children Social Worker to join a Assessment and Short Intervention team.

THIS POST REQUIRES A SOCIAL WORK QUALIFICATION OF A MINIMUM 3 YEAR PERMANENT EXPERIENCE.

About the team

The team play a cruicial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and younf people. The Team work closely with familes, carers, and other professioanl to assess the needs and devlop care plans for the children. This team will carry out S17 and S47 assessments. This service has been marked Good with ofstead and prides it self on their effective work style when handling cases.

About you

A social work degree (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3 years permanent experience within Local Authority based Social Work. It's essential to have experience of working either in a Front Door, Children in Need, Child Protection. A valid UK driving licence and vehicle are essential in order to be considered for this role.
