Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic Band 5 Child Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) to join our friendly team in Ealing and support the delivery of low intensity interventions in schools and community settings for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the supervision of the CWP supervisor and alongside Trainee CWPs within the Community Medicine Pathway (CWP/Community pathway) of Ealing MHST.
  • Conduct clinical consultation and provide advice to non‑clinical groups (e.g. schools and voluntary sector professionals) working with young people (0‑18), families, carers and internal/external professionals.
  • Develop and expand the CWP community pathway, building on the existing community link worker project and establishing connections with BAME communities (Sikh, Somali, Arab, Polish and Sri Lankan) and faith‑based organisations.
  • Engage under‑represented communities in Ealing, understand barriers to help, raise awareness of mental health support (NHS and non‑NHS) and promote culturally sensitive CAMHS services.
