Job summary

Trafford Council seeks a Children’s Team Manager to lead the Families First team, guiding services that support children and families with timely, appropriate help and ensuring smooth integration with Families First reforms.

You will work with multi-agency partners to deliver family plans and improve outcomes, with a preference for candidates who have specialist knowledge in mental health, domestic abuse, substance misuse or complex family dynamics.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a children's social care team.
• Understanding of safeguarding and child welfare processes.
• Ability to work with multi-agency partners to deliver family plans.
