Team Manager – Care for Children's team

Salary up to £50,512 PLUS market supplement paid monthly.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a client based in the North East. They are seeking an experienced Team Manager for their Care for Children's team, working with children and young people currently in care and supporting children and families planning to live outside of family care.

Role responsibilities:

  • Leading, managing, and coaching your team to deliver and improve services for vulnerable children, young people, and families
  • Reporting to the service manager and collaborating with other team managers
  • Recruiting and supervising staff
  • Conducting individual and group supervision to maintain high staff performance
  • Ensuring appropriate case allocation within the team
  • Promoting a child-centered approach
  • Partnering with multi-agency teams to achieve optimal outcomes for children and families

Candidate requirements:
