Job summary

Milk Education is seeking dedicated Children’s Support Workers to join a specialist school in North Liverpool, supporting pupils aged 3-19. You will provide one-to-one support and small-group assistance, helping learners catch up and stay engaged in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • Recent experience working in a school or education setting.
  • Solid numeracy and literacy skills.
  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands‑on experience.
  • Comfortable taking direction from the class teacher and working as part of a team.
  • Experience in SEND, care, youth work, or related settings (school or non-school).

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils one-to-one and in small groups, responding to individual needs.
  • Help deliver catch-up sessions to close learning gaps.
  • Work with the class teacher on lesson planning and adapting resources.
  • Promote an inclusive classroom where every student belongs.

Children's Support Worker- School's

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs? A specialist school in North Liverpool is seeking dedicated Children's Support Workers to join their team, supporting pupils aged 3-19.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Requirements or Skills:
