Are you looking for a part-time role with morning (7am-8:30am) and evening (7:30pm-8:30pm) shifts, helping a young girl get ready for school and bedtime?

Within the Care in the Home division, we support children with complex health needs in their family homes.

We are seeking a Support Worker to support our client at her home in Preston.

Meet the Client:

Our client is a 12-year-old girl with cerebral palsy. She enjoys pampering and loves the colour pink! She lives with her mum and needs support with morning routines for school and evening routines for bed.

Working Hours:

  • Monday-Friday: 1.5-hour morning shift (7am-8:30am) and 1-hour evening shift (7:30pm-8:30pm)
  • Saturday: 1-hour morning shift (8am-9am) and 1-hour evening shift (7:30pm-8:30pm)
  • Sunday: 5pm-9pm
  • You can be recruited for morning and/or evening shifts based on your availability.
  • Hours are likely to increase soon, potentially up to 30 hours per week.

Role Responsibilities:

Supporting a 12-year-old girl with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, severe developmental delay, and visual impairment, both at home and in the community. Tasks include helping her get ready for school in the mornings and for bed in the evenings. You will work alongside another support worker during your shifts.

Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
