Within the Care in the Home division, we support children and young people with complex health needs to live at home with their families.

We'd like you to join us as a Children's Support Worker at our young client's home in Liverpool (Fairfield area).

Meet the client:

Our client is a 9-year-old little boy who loves the farm and animals and creepy crawlies! He also enjoys swimming, museums, going on walks at national trust parks, bubbles and texture books, and watching things on his iPad.

When you'll be working:

  • Term time: Fridays (1.30pm-6pm) and Saturdays (8.30am-5.30pm)
  • Non-Term Time: Tuesdays (10am-4pm), Thursdays (10am-4pm), Saturdays (10am-4pm)
  • If you are looking for more hours, we also have the following shifts available with our other young client in Liverpool: Tuesdays & Thursdays 3.30pm-7pm, Sundays 2pm-7pm

What you'll be doing:

This role is to support a 9-year-old little boy who is a wheelchair user, wears splints, has chest physio, is doubly incontinent and is PEG fed. The role is to support him with all of his needs in his family home and driving the car to enable him to access the community. Therefore, you must hold a full UK driver's licence.

You will always be working alongside another support worker on your shifts.

Full training, shadow shifts and ongoing support will be provided.
