Job Advert: Children’s Support Worker – Cottam
Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temp to Perm
Location: Cottam, Preston

We are looking for passionate and resilient Children’s Support Workers to join a welcoming school in Cottam. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team committed to supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support and care to children and young people.
  • Help maintain a stable and nurturing environment that promotes well-being and personal growth.
  • Encourage positive behaviours and support young people in developing social and life skills.
  • Assist with routines including personal care and recreational activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to implement care plans and safeguard all residents.

Requirements:

  • Experience in care, youth work, or education is beneficial but not essential.
  • A caring and patient approach with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including early and late shifts.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
