Job summary

Elevated&Co is recruiting experienced Children’s Support Workers to assist children and young people with complex healthcare needs in their homes and community settings. You will provide one-to-one support in challenging environments while building trusted relationships with families.

The role requires reliability, compassion, and confidence, with DBS and compliance processes prioritized. Opportunities exist across the North West & Midlands with flexible shifts and potential block bookings.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience
• Previous experience supporting children or young people preferred
• Complex care experience highly desirable
• Enhanced DBS – Update Service preferred
• Right to Work in the UK
• Able to provide professional references
• Willing to complete required compliance and training
• Reliable and able to commit to agreed shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to children and young people in home and community settings
• Assist with complex healthcare needs as described (e.g., PEG feeding, medication support)
• Support children and families while maintaining safeguarding and moving & handling safety

Elevated&Co is currently recruiting experienced Children’s Support Workers to support children and young people with complex healthcare needs within their own homes and community settings.

We are looking for reliable, compassionate and confident Children’s Support Workers who have previous care experience and are comfortable providing one-to-one support to children and young people.

About the Children’s Support Worker role

As a Children’s Mental Health assistant, you may support children and young people with needs including:

• Autism and learning disabilities
• Epilepsy and seizure management
• PEG / enteral feeding
• Medication support
• Personal care
• Moving & handling
• Behavioural and emotional support
• Complex physical health needs
• Supporting children within their family home and community

Requirements

• Relevant experience
• Previous experience supporting children or young people preferred
• Complex care experience highly desirable
• Enhanced DBS – Update Service preferred
• Right to Work in the UK
• Able to provide professional references
• Willing to complete required compliance and training
• Reliable and able to commit to agreed shifts
