Job summary

Caritas Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Children’s Social Worker for the London Borough of Sutton. You will assess children and families, visit households, and collaborate with schools, healthcare, and community services to ensure safe, supportive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Social Work qualification CQSW or DipSW or equivalent.
• Registered with Social Work England.
• Experience working with children and families in a social work setting.
• Strong assessment and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assessing the needs of children and families to develop intervention plans.
• Conducting regular visits to families and children to monitor progress and provide support.
• Collaborating with schools, health services, and community organizations for holistic care.
• Preparing reports for court proceedings and child protection conferences.
• Participating in team meetings and service improvements.
