Children’s Social Worker – Disabilities Team | Hybrid | Bury

Are you a passionate and experienced Social Worker looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with disabilities?

We’re recruiting for a Children’s Social Worker to join a supportive and dedicated team in Bury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in working with children with disabilities who thrives in a collaborative, flexible working environment.

Location: Bury (Hybrid – 2 days working from home)
Pay Rate: Competitive (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time, Locum
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a varied caseload of children with disabilities

Undertake assessments, reviews, and care planning

Work closely with families and partner agencies to deliver outstanding support

Ensure the voice of the child is central to all planning

Requirements:

Qualified Social Worker (SWE Registered)

Experience working within a Children with Disabilities team

Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures

Excellent communication and assessment skills
